Wherever possible standardised dimensions are used and re-used, making it possible to include parts from different kits to serve functions that they were never originally intended for.

For instance the attached track layout of the tunnel portals and station ramp templates are identical. You can attach a platform to a tunnel portal and a ramp will be formed giving you a headwall for an underground station. Conversely you can use a ramp template to join tunnels making it easy to produce a snaking profile.

Trainz doesn't always make this an easy approach to take and the result is that missing dependencies are far too common a problem with these items. You will find it easier in the long run to download the entire kit rather than the individual components - few of the objects are large files.
